Mr. George is the founder of the Search and Rescue Dog Association of Alberta which was the
first RCMP certified unit in Alberta.
He is the first Canadian awarded the nation's Achievement Award for his outstanding
contributions to training dogs for search-and-rescue and developing the standards for
the RCMP SAR-Dogs in Alberta.
